Very enjoyable series, if you are looked for an easy read, I highly recommend these books. It is, however, a very short biography. The best part of this book is the biographical information. Simple easy to read and practical! We all know most of it but when it is explained like this and laid out so you can actually apply it in your life, that is just what the doctor ordered (literally). But in order to study for the test it provides exactly the amount of information needed.. But to the benefit of the reader - no sacred cows are left unscathed.
Mistlberger concludes the book with seven steps or stages of the awakening process, and seven examples of great sages who were genuinely enlightened. There are some brief explanations that go with the colorful illustrations - but the illustrations may be rather difficult for someone not familiar with political cartoons - although they are not so political. The concepts in the book are hard to understand - but very profound. Mason runs
