Good read overall.. There are only about 25 pages of material most of which are illustrations. And simply a joyful pleasure to view.. Great read!. Shun the journal and its reviewers.. Just got my copy yesterday and couldn't put it down. The action is fantastic and the characters are interesting, if not a little flat. He writes of the key players and events in an easy, accessible style, with a subtle humor and much wit. I read this book prior to reading "Mohawks Lost" by Gerald Naekel. As a teacher this book is an essential tool. Libertarians and self-identified conservatives may be horrified at being identified as "liberal," but Novak is referring to the classical liberal, individual rights approach.
At the end, Novak discusses the shift from the organic, "well regulated society" to the emergence of the modern Constitutional law, positivist state. Matt along with the other authors have done a great job of breaking down what it takes to make it through any barriers, invest at
